Meet Brooke Mascia
For more than a decade as a New Jersey high school counselor, I have helped hundreds of students navigate one of the most pivotal chapters of their lives, turning uncertainty about college into clarity and opportunity. Whether it’s creating a list of potential colleges or providing feedback on college essays, I have deep experience assisting students with every step of the college application process.
As a mother of three, I understand the stress, uncertainty, and high expectations that often surround college planning. My goal is to make the process clearer, calmer, and more manageable for families. With warm and honest guidance, students can move forward feeling informed, not overwhelmed. I feel personally invested in my young clients’ experiences and outcomes as they navigate the admissions journey. When I am not advising, I can be found watching my kids’ sports and dance performances, attending Broadway shows, traveling, working out and catering to the needs of my mini Australian Labradoodle, Chloe!
Rooted in Years of Expertise and Passion
Building a Lasting Impact in College Admissions
Prior to my career in school counseling, I worked in professional development at McKinsey & Company in New York where I guided and staffed the firm’s recent college graduates of elite institutions. This experience taught me how powerful thoughtful preparation and strategic guidance can be to young people. These are lessons I now apply to every student I advise.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and my Masters in School Counseling from Montclair State University. My diverse professional experiences have shaped my belief that every student has a story worth telling, and the college process is about discovering and articulating that story with confidence.
